The highly successful Loftus Peak Global Disruption Fund is now available to investors on the ASX as an active Exchange Traded Managed Fund (ASX Code: LPGD).
Loftus Peak’s CEO Rick Steele said “the launch of the Fund as an active ETF makes it possible for a wide range of investors to participate in the global disruption thematic underpinning the Fund’s investment strategy. The dual registry structure means that an investor can access units either traditionally as a managed fund or directly through the ASX.
The Fund has performed exceptionally well since inception in November 2016, delivering a post fee return of 25.9% per annum. Over the same period, the MSCI All Countries World Index (net) in Australian dollars returned 12.0% per annum, an outperformance of 13.9% per annum.
“The disruption thematic has never been more important than it is today” said Loftus Peak’s Chief Investment Officer Alex Pollak. “People are increasingly running their day-to-day lives online and companies that don’t respond to these changes will struggle. We seek to identify companies that are challenging incumbents across a whole range of industries including retail, transport and logistics, financial services, media/communications and healthcare. Companies included in the portfolio are only selected if they satisfy our tried and tested valuation methodology.”
The Fund’s Portfolio Manager Anshu Sharma said “we are always looking to position the Fund for what we believe the world will look like in two to five years’ time. Right now, we have a strong focus on companies that are enabling 5G. We expect 5G will have widespread business applications in the coming years and offer enormous opportunities for the Fund to participate in.”
The Fund’s quotation on the ASX was achieved in conjunction with the Fund’s responsible entity Equity Trustees Limited and the Fund’s Administrator, Mainstream Fund Services.

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Net-of-fees performance for the Loftus Peak Global Disruption Fund is based on end-of-month redemption prices after the deduction of fees and expenses and the reinvestment of all distributions. Investment return and the principal value fluctuate, so your units, when sold, may be worth more or less than the original cost.
