Andre Morony

Andre Morony, B.Ec.(Hons), M.Ec was the Chief Investment Officer at ARIA, (formerly known as the Commonwealth and Public Sector Superannuation Schemes). He was previously employed as Chief Investment Officer at BT Funds Management (BT). Mr. Morony held a long and distinguished career in the finance sector. Starting at the Commonwealth Treasury, he represented Australia at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development before joining BT. He served as the Chairman at Australian Ethical Investment Ltd., from February 23, 2011 to February 04, 2013 and served as its Director since June 2008 until November 20, 2013. He serves as a Director of ABN AMRO Investments Australia, Challenger LBC Terminals Jersey and Steam Packet Group International Holdings. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Flinders University and a Master of Economics from Australian National University.


Peter Ivany AO

Peter Ivany AO is Executive Chairman of Ivany Investment Group, which has a significant global investment portfolio and invests directly across different asset classes, including private equity, real estate, technology, bonds and shares. Past successes include Video Ezy, Harris Scarfe, and TAHL – at the time Australia’s largest hotel property owner, managed by Accor. Peter is the individual behind the success of Hoyts Cinemas, being CEO at the time in which the company grew from a small chain of 40 theatres in Australia to a global business with over 2,000 theatres operating in 12 countries.

Peter balances his work life by supporting a wide range of philanthropic endeavours. He is a member of the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust, Chairman of the Swans Foundation, Chairman of the NIDA Foundation Trust and is on the board of Allied Credit. He is also a key investor and board member of the Sydney Zoo and IMAX Darling Harbour. In addition, Peter is an Honorary Life Governor for the Jewish Communal Appeal and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology, Sydney. He has contributed to the Boards of the MCA and Art Gallery NSW, and was a founding member of Events NSW, which started a turnaround of major events coming to Sydney.

In 2007, Peter was appointed a member of the Order of Australia for service to the community through a range of activities in the fields of fundraising, arts, sports, Jewish community and business education.
