Investment Philosophy

Loftus Peak believes that all industries are being disrupted. We seek out companies that are driving, or will be the beneficiaries of, this accelerating pace of change. Importantly, we construct a portfolio from these companies on the basis of strict criteria at carefully determined valuations, in a process that openly acknowledges and accounts for risk.

This global approach to investment across a wide range of global industries aims to reduce the concentration risk often associated with home-biased Australian portfolios, with a typically heavy skew toward banks, resources and the Australian dollar.

Our portfolios invest in global companies driving industry change, such as Nvidia, first bought in 2016. As well as Microsoft and Broadcom, our diverse portfolios also include many less well-understood companies which are expected to be household names in the future, such as Advanced Micro Devices and CATL.
